Tile Time

Finally I have gotten the technique all together to share with you. This technique came from the January Demo Stampin' success from SU!.

Here is what you need:
Score-Pal or a paper cutter w/score blade
Ink (I used Real Red & Regal Rose)
Punches (optinal)
Sponge
Cardstock (I used Real Red, Whisper White & Pretty in Pink)
Stamps (I used Clear Stamps from Michaels)
Ribbon ( I used Real Red)

Step 1: Cut paper to desired length and width for your card.

Step 2: Take score pal or paper cutter w/score blade, and start scoring every inch of your cardstock diagonally to create tile. Picture on the left is how it should look when you get done doing the 1st set of diagonal lines. Once you have those done you want to score again using the same method as above to get the tile look.

When you are done scoring it should look like this.

Step 3: Next sponge your cardstock, making sure to allow the grout lines to show through. If I dont see the grout lines very well i use my sanding stone and sand the lines to make them show up a little better.

Step 4: Finish Card.
Hope you enjoyed the Technique and I hope you have fun with it, if you have any questions just ask. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and until my next rambling :)
