Technique Thursday

Is finally here :) Has it really been a whole week since I last posted? Bad me :( I have a fun technique for you tonight and also pics of some stamping stuff I got over the last week. But first we will get to the Technique ,that is if I stop watching Nascar Pit Crew Challenge on Speed and start typing the technique for you. Let me also state sorry for some of the Pic's some of them are really close and some have a glare. OK enough stalling here is what you have come to my blog for the Technique. Its called (drum roll please)....Bleaching.

Here is what you need:
Paint Brush
Bleach (I use the bleach pen thing)
Stamp
Ink
Clear Embossing powder
Cardstock (its best to use a darker color)
Heat Gun

Step 1: Stamp your stamp on your Cardstock and emboss it.

Step 2: Put your bleach into a shallow container mixing it with a little bit of water. I just squeezed the bleach pen and add about 3 to 4 drops of water and mixed it together.

Step 3: Color your image with the bleach mixture, wherever you want the color to be white.

Step 4: Finish card

Pic of what it looks like bleaching on lighter colored cardstock. Its a lot softer then if you use a darker color.

OK so here is the pics of my shopping frenzy from the last week. I think sometime I need to join a support group for over shopping.

Stampin' Up!© order. Its my 1st order out of the mini catalog. Samples to come hopefully this weekend using some of the sets I got.

Stamp sets I ordered from Kitchen Sink. You should visit there website which is located on the right of my blog. They have some really nice stamps.

My purchases from Papertrix store down in Nashville IN also known as Brown County. I love this store and really am thankful it takes about 45 min to get there, or I would be there every day.

My order from Stamping Bella came today. I love the fairy's. I used one of them to do the technique above. The copics came yesterday from All that Scraps which is another one of my fav websites which is also located on the right of my blog.
OK I guess I have bored you enough with my rambling. Its supposed to rain most of the weekend here so I'm hopeful I will get some stamping down and have samples to share with you all. Have a wonderful evening and just think tomorrow is Friday :) So until my next rambling :)
