Technique Time

Here is a new technique for you all. I hope you enjoy and have fun with this technique.

Faux Linen

You will need(all items used are from Stampin' Up!©) :

med. sandpaper

glossy cardstock

sponge or sponge brayer

classic or pigment ink ( i used apricot appeal)

stamps

background stamp (optional)

Optional- If you want to use a background stamp. Stamp it on the glossy cardstock first before you sandpaper.

1) Take your glossy cardstock and your sandpaper and sand your cardstock in Vertical lines and Horizontal lines. Keep sanding until all the gloss is gone.

2) Apply a light colored ink to your sanded cardstock. You can use a sponge brayer or a sponge

3) Once you have it all colored. Lighten your ink by using the sandpaper again

4) Finish your card.
