Want to Thump??

What is Thumping you ask... It is a really fun technique that I learned from Splitcoast (see fav websites). Which I want to share with all of you. Here is what I used: (All stamps, paper and ink are from Stampin Up.)
Stamps: The Snowflake Spot
Paper: Garden Green, Whisper White and Bravo Burgundy
Ink: True Thyme (IN Color), Versamark, Bravo Burgundy
Accessories: Bravo Burgundy Marker, Snail Adhesive and Notched Corner Punch.
Ok here is what you do: Stamp Small Snowflake in Versamark on Bravo Burgundy paper. Then Stamp larger Snowflake in True Thyme and then take Bravo Burgundy Marker and hold loosely in hand with the Brush part of the marker facing the stamp and then just tap (Thump) marker on stamp. Just do it in different spots on the stamp until you are happy with the look and then stamp on Whisper White paper. (You do want to make sure that the Main Ink Color is a Lighter Color then the Marker Color which should be a Darker Ink Color) Once that is done then use the Notched Punch on the whisper white paper. Stamp the Joy in Bravo Burgundy on the Garden Green Paper. Before you put Snail Adhesive on the main stamped image Color the sides of the main image with Bravo Burgundy Ink. Then you are done. Now try Thumping on your next card. Have a great evening and until my next rambling :)
