Its Fall

I did this card for a friend. Its something that was fun to do. Now pay attention because for once I'm going to share a technique with all of you. All stamps, accessors and paper are from Stampin' Up! The stamps I used are: Weathered Background, Fall Whimsy and Tiny Talk. I used Black Stazon Ink for Leaves and Really Rust for Background. To get the color and shine I used Pearl Ex and Future Floor Polish.

First you stamp you background in Really Rust Ink and then you stamp your leaves in Black Stazon. Let Stazon dry for a min or two. While you do this you need to take your Aqua Painter and fill it with Future Floor Polish and pick which Pearl Ex powders you want to use. With the Aqua Painter brush you dip the tip into the pearl ex (make sure you dont have the tip to wet) and paint in your leaves. To clean your brush off in between colors just either take a paper towel and wipe off or wipe off on scratch paper. When you have gotten all your leaves painted you let pearl ex dry (takes about 3 min) and then you take a swiffer floor dust and buff the leaves off. This will not only remove extra pearl ex on your paper but it will also make the leaves shine.

Once you are done with the leaves you then stamp on the twill tape with Stazon and then attatch your cut out leaf to the twill tape with twine or hemp. Then the next step is to attatch the twill tape and then you are done.

Hope everyone enjoys. Try it, share it, and have fun with this technique.

Until my next rambling or technique. Have a wonderful weekend :)
